Description
Tara is a meditation deity, guiding practitioners of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism to develop inner qualities such as compassion, loving-kindness, and emptiness. Representing different aspects of the same quality, Tara is also recognized in various forms, with at least twenty-one Tara’s in some schools of Buddhism.
In addition to her spiritual significance, Tara is a forest goddess, associated with nature, flowers, acacia trees, and the wind. This particular craft showcases her diverse aspects, portraying her in various colors and forms.
